Birth & Spiritual Doula Support

I provide continuous emotional, physical, and educational support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. As your doula, I help create a calm, supported birth environment while offering comfort measures, guidance, advocacy support, and reassurance during labor.

Research shows that doula support can help lower cesarean rates, reduce birth trauma, and improve overall birth satisfaction by helping families feel informed, heard, and supported throughout their experience.

I also offer spiritual and holistic support through grounding techniques, affirmations, mindfulness, and intentional care to help you feel connected and empowered during your birth journey.

Postpartum support

Sacred care for the tender weeks after birth

The postpartum period is a time of deep transformation—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As your postpartum doula, I offer nurturing, grounded support during this sacred window of healing, bonding, and rest.

My services are designed to help you feel held, nourished, and supported as you adjust to life with your newborn. I show up with calm presence, warm hands, and an open heart.

Postpartum support may include:

  • Emotional support and gentle guidance during the transition into parenthood
  • Light housekeeping, meal prep, and nourishing food support
  • Infant care education and soothing techniques
  • Breastfeeding/chestfeeding support or bottle-feeding guidance
  • Holding space for your birth story
Sleep support and rest opportunities for parents
  • Holistic practices (if desired), such as herbal baths, grounding rituals, or energy balancing

Birth prep and education

Birth preparation and education is offered as a separate service from my birth doula support. While doula care includes prenatal appointments to discuss your birth preferences, goals, and how I can support you during labor, these classes provide more in-depth education and preparation for birth and postpartum.

This service is designed for families who want additional guidance, education, and confidence before birth. Topics may include labor coping techniques, comfort measures, partner support, birth planning, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and what to expect during labor and delivery.

Self-pay clients can add birth education into their doula package. Medicaid clients are welcome to add this service separately as an additional self-pay option.
